Amish grocery salvage outlets have been around for years, the slow economy and word of mouth has recently increased their business with consumers hunting for bargains.
Consumer traffic and purchases have increased so dramatically, that new Amish run grocery salvage outlets are being opened to meet the demand. No small wonder, with reported prices like rolls of paper towels for 50 cents and salad dressing for 10 cents a bottle.
Most of these Amish grocery salvage outlets have been in business for several years, primarily located in the Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana areas, but have not done as brisk of business as they are doing these days. Most Amish grocery salvage outlets do not even advertise, word of mouth from customers is all that's needed to bring in the business.
