There are several Visitor Center when you are at this national historic site. There is only one that does charge a fee to access it. The fee is $5 and it is the Ketchikan Center. The other centers are the Anchorage, Tok and the Fairbanks. These centers are very beneficial for you to get the most out of your visit. Make sure that you stop into them when you are there. Call ahead to find out the correct hours for the season you will be visiting and then make it a point to stop in and see them.
Anytime that you are sightseeing in Alaska make sure that you have your camera handy. There is some spectacular sights that you will see and you will definitely want to have pictures so that you can remember all of it by. Be sure that you also get some fabulous souvenirs, too. Always dress comfortably and for the weather in the area when you will be there and that way you will be able to enjoy as much of it as you can.
