2020-2020 Georgia Quail Hunting Season
The 2020-2020 Georgia Quail hunting season is the time of year when quail hunters can legally pursue Bobwhite Quail throughout the state of Georgia.
Hunters who will be participating in hunting quail in during the 2020-2020 Georgia Quail hunting season will be required to obtain certain licenses, whether they are residents of Georgia or not. Residents of Georgia will need to obtain a valid Georgia Hunting License, Georgia Hunting and Fishing Combination License, a 1-day Georgia Hunting License or a Georgia Lifetime Hunting License. Non-residents of Georgia will need to obtain a valid Georgia Non-resident Hunting License, a Georgia 1-day Non-resident Hunting License or a Georgia 3-day Non-resident Hunting License. Both residents of Georgia and non-residents who were born after 1960 will be required to have proof of successfully completing a hunter education course. The hunting license and hunter education proof are required to be on the hunter's person while they are hunting quail in Georgia.
The weapons that can be used during the 2020-2020 Georgia Quail hunting season are as important as the other rules and regulations that have been covered so far. These weapons include any rifle or handgun that is .22-caliber or smaller rimfire, air rifle and muzzle-loader, or a shotgun with shot shell 3.5 inches or smaller and a No. 2 or smaller shot.
The dates for the 2020-2020 Georgia Quail hunting season are November 15, 2020 through February 28, 2020. During these dates, quail hunters in Georgia can take a daily bag limit of 12 Bobwhite Quail from half an hour before the sun rises until half an hour after the sun sets all throughout the state of Georgia. As with other states, there is no season limit for quail in Georgia.
